The New Leben CS-60T MC Step-Up Transformer

This is not simply a transformer. It is a carefully crafted expression of Japanese dedication to music reproduction.

At its heart is a custom-designed Permalloy-core transformer, made in Japan, wound with the thickest possible wire relative to the core size. Ultra-precision resistors from Alpha Electronics in Akita, Japan complete the signal path.

Every detail has been considered to preserve the purity of the music.

There is no toggle switch in the signal path — a direct connection structure is used to minimize contact points and protect the delicate musical information.

The transformers are enclosed within 1 kg aluminum blocks, surrounded by a 2 mm steel chassis and a substantial 10 mm aluminum base, creating exceptional shielding and mechanical stability.

And then comes the distinctly Japanese touch.

Natural Zelkova serrata wood, traditionally used in Japanese drums and the pillars of temples and shrines, is used for the insulators — bringing an organic character to the presentation.

Natural Walnut side panels help tame metallic resonance, allowing the CS-60T to deliver what matters most:
