Solid Tech Base of Silence

Experience shows that today’s Audio systems have been so highly developed that serious attention must be paid to the influence of external as well as internal vibrations and resonances.

Base of Silence is a stand alone isolation shelf that has the purpose to isolate any kind of hifi equipment from undesired vibrations. Use this base as a stand-alone isolator on top of any HIFI rack system or use it as an amp stand straight on the floor.

The isolation system contains four separate isolator units and the foot of the isolator has a cork protection. Each isolation unit can be loaded with 12 springs pending the load, meaning a maximum of 48 springs in one base.

The base will be prepared for a load of maximum 90kg. Extra springs can be added and increase the max load of 180kg. The lightest load to give a hearable isolation effect is 8kg.

Base of silence consists of a sandwich board with four integrated isolators. The sandwich board has the size: 435mm x 495mm x 60-70mm. The isolator shelf consists of a 30mm MDF, 3 mm cork and on top a 19mm veneered HD MDF.

Base of Silence is available in six variants of lacquers/veneers(black, white, walnut, cherry, oak, black oak).
