The Helix One Mk2 has a new custom designed Swiss-manufactured motor designed to Döhmann Audio’s specifications which incorporates the very latest technology around constant torque performance and quietness of operation.
The PowerBase contains a new power supply, control software to drive the new motor and special high frequency / RF absorption features. It also contains a suspension stabiliser to lock the table from moving during record changeover, a lighting control system and power filtration functions. The Powerbase replaces the old separate control box on the first generation of Helix One turntables.
