In very good condition. This is a classic non-oversampling DAC from Audio Note (UK), with no jitter reduction, noise shaping, or re-clocking — just pure analogue magic. All digital filtering is removed, and everything is handled in the analogue domain for natural, phase-coherent sound.
It uses the top-tier Analog Devices AD1865 18-bit chip, and features an upgraded balanced output stage with ECC82 / 5814a tubes, coupled to a high-quality Audio Note copper-wound output transformer (33:1 ratio) for an ultra-wide frequency response.
