The original CM10 was the first speaker to feature both 'Tweeter On Top' and 'Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter', allowing for an astoundingly accurate high-end response. This exceptionally well-developed design philosophy and innovative engineering remains in the CM10 S2, while various internal elements of the speaker have been upgraded, thus taking the overall performance level of the CM10 even higher than before.

Key changes to the internal technology include the addition of a Mundorf EVO capacitor, which delivers a simplified and precise crossover. All internal wiring utilises high quality Van den Hul cabling and the terminal tray of the loudspeaker is built from a nickel-plated material. Even the already-superb driver units have had an upgrade, seeing the addition of specialised Anti Resonance Dust Plugs.

These internal component upgrades allow the CM10 S2 to provide a superlative performance with a level of sonic integrity never before seen at this price point. But it's not only the internal technologies that have had a make-over; the aesthetic appearance of the CM10 S2 now consists of minimalistic fixings with no visible screws, a redesigned protective speaker grille and high quality gloss black.
