The Hydra Model-2 consists of Shunyata Research’s cryogenically treated Venom silver- plated outlets (2) that are hard-wired with Shunyata’s own high-purity CDA-101 cryogentic copper conductors. Shunyata Research’s exclusive Venom noise filtration provides isolation from line and component borne noise as well as low-level spike protection. 10,000-amps of surge and spike protection offer peace of mind without compromising performance. The Hydra Model-2 provides up to 30-amps of clean continuous current, and can be used with any of Shunyata Research’s high-performance Pacesetter power cords.

Applications

The Hydra Model-2 will perform its high-current power distribution and noise-reducing functions with any type of electronics and can be partnered with one of five different PowerSnakes power cords-- to match any application and budget. The Hydra Model-2’s extremely high current capability and two-outlet size make it an ideal choice for mono-amplifiers and electronics that are remotely placed from the main system, such as video projectors, video monitors, phono-electronics, recording equipment, power desk systems, powered speakers etc.
