MC PHONO CARTRIDGE

For the manufacturers
of MC type phono cartridges, High energy under Low impedance has
been an eternal thesis, which was successfully solved in the form
of the PC-1 thanks to development of our exclusive ultra-hi-μcore
material SH-μX.
Our target having been focussed on furtherance
of lower impedance, now proudly introduced is the PC-1 Supreme
that offers such an astounding inner impedance as low as 1Ω.
To make this possible, on top of the epoch-making SH-μX we employed
thicker wires (from 40μup to 55μin diameter), thus succeeding
in reducing winding number in the coil by as much as 40%.
The further
advantages thus achieved are:
- Expansion of reproduction bandwidth
- Extension of dynamic range
- Improvement of transient characteristics
- Betterment of phase characteristics (smaller phase shift)
In
terms of playback music, expansion of both of the bandwidth and
dynamic range provides clearer, life-like soundstage presentation,
whilst improvement in transient and phase characteristics makes
it possible to separate ultra heavy bass range and to offer higher
resolution in orchestral performance, thus enabling to hear individual
instruments.
