Ortofon has released the May 2012 newsletter. It talks about the Munich High End 2012 hifi show, the new Ortofon 2M 78, 2M MONO and 2M Verso Series, the new Ortofon TSW-6000 Silver and Interconnect 6NX-MPR 30 cables and other new accessories.

It also has Ortofon new videos featuring various production stages.

Official Launch of the Avantgarde XA Series

Taking more than 2 years in the development stage, and benefitting from numerous years of experience in manufacturing their earlier series of amplifiers, Avantgarde Acoustic has finally launched what they consider as their tour de force in amplification, the XA Series.

Yet few are aware of the technical sophistication and numerous cutting-end technologies that are employed in these breakthrough amplifier products. All of these factors are what contribute to make the XA Series of amps by far the best sounding amplification products from Avantgarde yet!

So what exactly are these technologies employed that make the XA amps so special? If you would like to know, please drop by our showroom on the 28th (Saturday) at 2 pm, and David Browne, Avantgarde Acoustic’s new international director of marketing will make a presentation on these amps and reveal all!

Nottingham Interspace Junior combo

The Nottingham Interspace Junior turntable with the matching Interspace tonearm is a relatively affordable entry into higher performance decks. It features their famous low torque motor, solid plinth and alloy platter with dual resonance-damping rings.

The Interspace tonearm is a unipivot design with a clever implementation of 2 stabilizing bars so it doesn't exhibit the wobbling that is normally associated with unipivot arms. It has a fixed headshell, good integrity and a carbon-fibre arm wand.

The Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge is their latest and current MM range that has a multi faceted body. It features their trademark split pole pins and a nude elliptical stylus.
